The New York City pre- 9/11 fire disaster that wiped out an entire community was said to have begun on September 11, 2001, when 10 militants associated with the Islamic extremist group al Qaeda hijacked four airplanes and carried out suicide attacks against the United States. Among these planes were planes loaded with 20000 gallons of jet fuel which crashed into the north tower of the World Trade Center in New York City.

Furthermore, Washington D. C had the destruction of the Pentagon by the third plane, while the fourth plane clashed on a field in Shanksville, Pennsylvania, providing a measure of precaution which defined the presidency of George W. Bush.

Furthermore, it automatically became clear that America was under attack when a massive collision exploded around its buildings and properties. A fourth California bound plane was hijacked a few minutes after leaving the airport because the plane had been delayed in taking off as a result of information passed regarding the devastation currently taking place in New York and Washington through an air phone and cell phone. Passengers were gripped with fear as they began to call loved ones to explain the situation on the plane, as it was obvious that they might die since the plane had been hijacked by an Islamic group.

Meanwhile, while trying to fight the fourth hijackers, the passenger attacked the cockpit with a fire extinguisher, after which it flipped over and sped towards the ground, killing all 44 people on board. This action was carried out by a member of the terrorist group who had hijacked the plane.

The Aftermath

In general, thousands of people were killed, which comprises of the 19 terrorists on the bound planes. Aside from that, citizens of 78 countries died. This might include those who migrated in search of work or shelter in the U. S.

In the World Trade Center, an estimated 2763 people died immediately after the two plans were hijacked. As a result, they comprise of government officials and officers like the air force, police, and other military personnel all killed during the conflict.
